Mr. Tommy Davis

Tommy Davis is the manager of Mama Penn's Restaurant. His is married to Ruth Davis.

Mr. John Dotson

John is retired from the Corporate World where he served as VP Operations for several different companies. He is currently a partner at Access4u Inc. a modular wheel chair ramp business. He is a graduate of Georgie Southern University with an MBA degree. He provided pro-bono consulting services to the Haven prior to joining the Board initially in 2009.  John and his wife of 35 years Pat are members of GraceView Church in Anderson where he serves as Deacon and Treasurer. He has 4 children, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

Mr. Johnny Ellison

Johnny Ellison is the owner of Johnny Ellison Frame & Body Shop. He is married to Elaine Ellison.

Mr. Woody Enderson

Woody Enderson is a retired FBI Agent, who served for 28 years and retired in 1999. At the time of his retirement, he served as the Inspector-in-Charge of the Southeast Bomb Task Force charged with investigating several deadly bombings throughout the southeast United States, including the bombing of Olympic Park in Atlanta during the Olympic games. Following his retirement, Woody and his wife June relocated to Anderson, SC, where they are members of Concord Baptist Church. Woody currently serves as a Sunday school teacher, and previously served as a deacon. He has served on the Haven of Rest Board for two years. He and June have been married 52 years and have two daughters.

Mr. David H Fant

David Fant is an Anderson native and a graduate of University of South Carolina. He has been a part of Lawrence and Brownlee Agency since 1985 and was a partner prior to becoming the sole owner in 2003. David and his wife Kathy Anderson Fant have two sons, and attend Concord Baptist Church where David serves as a deacon and in other ministries. David has a passion for others to know Christ and have the same hope in Jesus that he has in his own life. David serves on the committee for Young Life Ministries at Clemson University and works with pastors in Sierra Leon, Africa helping in their local ministries. He now serves at The Haven as a mentor and has been involved with the ministry throughout the years.

Dr. Barry Maddox

Barry Maddox is a member of NewSpring Church and is honored to have the opportunity to serve on the board of the Haven of Rest.  Barry and his wife Tammy of 23 years are blessed to share in the lives of 5 children and 4 grandchildren.  Barry is a pediatrician and has practiced in Anderson for over 30 years. He is currently a partner in AnMed Health Pediatric Associates. Barry is a native of Easley, and graduate of Clemson University and MUSC.

Mrs. Elsie Newell

Elsie Newell has been teaching and writing Bible Studies for over forty years. She is the mother of three, grandmother of twelve, and great grandmother of two. She was married to Newton Newell for fifty three years before he passed away in 2013. She is a member of Christ Reformed Church. Elsie volunteers in the Haven Women’s Ministry program and is grateful for the time she has to learn with and mentor the women in the program.

Mrs. Elizabeth Parkins

Elizabeth Parkins is a retired teacher from Anderson School District 5 where she taught for 35 years. She graduated from Clemson University with BA and Masters of Education degrees. During this time she came to know the devastation that drug and alcohol addiction can cause as she worked with students and their families. Elizabeth now serves as a volunteer for the Haven of Rest Women's Ministry as a teacher, mentor, and house volunteer. She and her husband Gordon attend and serve at NewSpring Church.

Mr. Todd Price

Todd Price has been in the financial services industry since 1987 and with Edward Jones Investments in Anderson, SC since 1990. He is originally from Rock Hill, SC and graduated from Anderson University and Southern Wesleyan University. He has been active in the Anderson community, serving on the board of directors for Anderson Interfaith Ministries, The Anderson YMCA and is now serving his third term on the Haven of Rest board. He has also serves on the  Board of Visitors at Anderson University and is president-elect of the Anderson Sertoma Club. He has been an active member of NewSpring Church since 2002. Todd and his wife Susan have three children and love calling Anderson home. 

Mr. Danny Walker

Danny Walker, and his late wife Susan Stiles Walker, have 4 adult children. Danny is a partner at Growth360, LLC; Medicare Insurance Benefits, LLC, and Southern PaintCo, LLC. Danny is a member at GraceView Church, where he serves as Chairman of the Elders, Sunday morning Life Group teacher, and AWANA Commander. He also serves on the board of Women’s Life Fellowship, as well as the Anderson University College of Business Advisory Board Executive Committee. Danny and Susan were co-founders of Anderson Christian School where he served as Chairman of the Board. Danny is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Ga.

Mr. John Webber

John and his wife Fran have been married for 43 years and together they have five children, eleven grand children and fifteen great grand children. John and Fran have been members of Varennes Heights Baptist Church for 43 years, where John serves as a Sunday school teacher and church treasurer. Before retiring, John was employed by Owens Corning for 35 years, where he held numerous leadership positions from Shift Supervisor to Factory Operations Leader.

Mrs. Debbie Williamson

Debbie Williamson is a retired teacher and instructional specialist from Anderson School District Five. After retirement in 2013, Debbie served as an adjunct professor and student teacher supervisor at Anderson University for three years. She graduated from Newberry College with a BA in Elementary Education and earned her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State College in Valdosta, Georgia. Debbie is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Anderson where she serves as a Sunday School teacher and as a curriculum advisor for the Presbyterian Church Day School. She also conducts workshops for the early childhood teachers. In addition, Debbie is very involved with the mission of the Matthew 28 Orphanage in Bohoc, Haiti. Debbie volunteers at the Haven Women’s Ministry as a teacher and a mentor. She is married to Tom Williamson, and they have three children and ten grandchildren.
