We are Giving Meals, Hope—and Thanks Together this Season!

Every year as the holidays come up on the horizon, I find myself looking with fresh eyes at all the grateful faces enjoying a good hot meal at Haven of Rest—and the kind of biblical hope, healing, and recovery that leads to real life change.

Many of these lives in our care have been broken by circumstances like losing a home or job, a health crisis, or suffer from addiction, violence, and abuse.

That grieves me, especially on Thanksgiving, when the name of the season itself is all about being thankful for blessings like family, health, and the hope that keeps us moving forward.

That’s why I’m so grateful for faithful friends and ministry partners like you, who make this work we share possible!

Together, we’re holding our arms and doors wide open, with a hearty “Welcome! We love and care about you in the Lord, and want to share our blessings with you!”

And as we look ahead to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and hard winter months ahead, I encourage you to stand with me through your gifts and prayers for the lives God is giving us to serve. It’s YOUR compassion in action that is helping save and change lives at The Haven—for good!

So let me be among the first to thank you for giving meals, hope, and thanks together this season.

As 2 Corinthians 4:15 says, “All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.”

With God’s Grace and Blessings,

Stu
