Guidelines for Donations |

|
Haven of Rest
Thrift Stores sell donated merchandise to help offset the costs of the
emergency services and recovery programs. Bringing items directly to
a store helps keep costs down, but Haven of Rest will pick up donations if
practical.
By law, Haven of
Rest Ministries does not give out dollar amounts on donations. See
IRS guidelines for assistance in determining what you can claim.

Tires, broken or tempered glass, paint, pianos or organs not in good
working order, fiberglass bath tubs and showers, porcelain commodes and
sinks, waterbeds, irreparable press board furniture, non-working plastic
shelled TVs, console stereos, mobile homes, wet or soiled clothing, and
wet, soiled ripped or torn upholstery pieces or bedding. |
